BRIGHTER THAN SUNSHINE

September 25, 2016

Lafayette 148 Coat

It’s happening, everyone.  It’s really happening.  At an ideal 60 degrees this morning, I can safely say that fall is officially upon us.  And that means long sleeves and boots and knit hats and glorious, glorious coats!  As far as outerwear goes, I’m admittedly, pretty boring.  A peek into my closet would reveal about a dozen trench and peacoats in a rainbow of black and more black, with a neutral brown in there for good measure. But nothing elevates a simple look quicker than an exceptionally-cut coat in a fabulous color. This little yellow number from Lafayette 148 is currently my spirit animal.  It’s every-so-slightly oversized and when paired with chic, colorful flats, it’s capable of turning a pair of jeans into a statement.  Fall just got a little brighter around here.
