Atlas and I are currently on a Floridian work-ation and spent last weekend exploring Dunedin, most widely known as the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays. But we didn’t come for baseball…we came for sunshine (and found a local fruit wine tasting, seafood festival and heart-warmingly dog-friendly town!) I fell in love with the easy, Key West vibe and adorable pooches soaking up rays and enjoying doggie ice cream cones.
A few days by the pool with a variety of bathing suits had already left me looking like a crispy waffle fry, but I decided to really go for the gusto with a criss-crossy little sundress from Tularosa. I picked it up a few months ago, in hopes it would summon the warm weather. Of course, it did NOT do the job in December in New York. But it’s on sale now (60% off, what?!) so I guess we are all winners.
Atlas’s onesie is a direct reflection of my obsession with sloths that I’m projecting on him. I’m like a stage mom, only, the sloth is my beauty pageant. [Editor’s Note: If someone doesn’t start a sloth beauty pageant circuit, what are we really doing with our lives, people?]
