It’s snowing outside the window of our upstate NY home and it’s nearly May. I’m pining for last week when we were in sunny Nashville, picnicking in Centennial Park without a flake in sight.
I’ve always had a thing for the south. There’s something comforting about the whole package. The welcoming twang, hospitality, mild weather, the food…THE FOOD. Seriously, while my arteries might not agree, I could eat bbq and cobbler/wear cowboy boots every day of my life. Atlas and I took full advantage of all these finer things while we were there for two weeks. He went on a statewide mashed potato tour. I preferred the blossoming, hip scenes of East Nashville (and snacked on enough fried chicken tacos to force me into a juice cleanse.)
While I didn’t take nearly as many photos of the city as I would have liked on our ‘workation,’ here are a few snaps from our day in the park spent exploring the Coliseum, enjoying a fresh boobie of milk (because #normalizebreastfeeding!) and playing in the grass. We can’t wait to go back!
