Spring sunshine is ethereal. There’s a certain lightness about it, burning so white its nearly silver. Giving life to the new. Fresh and achromatic. It’s completely invigorating and any chance to get outside and bask in it should be jumped on immediately, if you ask me. Bonus points if you happen to have the ideal maxi and espadrille wedges in your closet waiting to come out.
I found this striped wrap dress on Revolve (but it’s currently VERY on sale at the link below!) and had to have it immediately when I saw that it was called the Atlas. I know. I’m a sucker for a good headline. I am the kind of person who buys nail polish based on the name and books by the title. I’m also someone who immediately loves any brand who is committed to sustainability, which is where my shoes come in. They’re made by Viscata, designed in Barcelona and handmade in Spain. Aside from being beautiful, chic and so comfortable you can wear them while spinning a toddler around in the park–Viscata will plant a tree in a rural community for every pair sold. What’s not to love?
Speaking of love, can we just talk about Atty’s pants for one second? This pair by Rosie Pope is made of French terry and is so soft that he doesn’t fight me to put them on, even though he is usually not tolerant of suspenders. The through-the-roof cuteness factor is the frosting on the cake…or in our case, the nutella in the crepe we stopped for at the end of our spring sunshine adventure.
If the sun is shining where you are today, don’t forget to take a minute to play in it a bit. There’s always time to stop and smell the tulips, isn’t there?
